Game notes not available after last turn

My notes on a game disappear/are no longer accessible once I take my last turn. When I forget to copy them off I lose access to them, even if the game is still playing. Please make them accessible a) forever (preferable) or b) until the game ends (understandable for long-term memory constraints).
