If you don't have time to allow people to specify their timezone (and believe me that is a can of worms the first time you look into timezone info), how about just adding a line to the bottom of each page: "Generated at 2010-02-25 21:03:34 GMT". This would provide some clue as to what time the other dates on the page refer to.

I would like to improve the handling of time zones but it's on a long list of things to do.

I know. I've read that. I was just proposing a stopgap that wouldn't take more than a few minutes per page.

OK I guess. I did it at the same time as some other stuff. And lol, if it took a few minutes per page I definitely wouldn't do it! A few minutes changing an include-file affects every page.
