Longer sessions please

Could you please extend the login sessions to 24-36 hrs? That way I wouldn't have to log in every time I got an email. Thanks,

Japhet

Just use:

http://wargamessoc.union.shef.ac.uk/brass/login.php?Name=#########&Password=########&wheretogo=7

as your book mark (replace ######## with your user id and passwrod respectively) and whenever you jump on the site, you're already logged in.

That assumes that we ever leave the site. I keep a tab open to this site all the time, and yeah, it's a small pain to have to re-login every time I refresh the page when I come to see if it's my turn in any of my games. A longer session would certainly be nice.

Hopefully I will be able to increase the session length once I have completed the move to the new hosting.

Hammerite,

Don't know if this helps, but here is a site that shows how to increase the default maximum php session length.

You should be finding that your sessions now expire after 50 minutes of inactivity. I made that change just after moving to the new hosting. Are you still finding that your sessions expire rapidly?

I think people are looking for a 24+ hour solution.

Yeah, 24 hours would be better. That way I'd practically never have to relogin because it's extremely rare that I don't check the site a few times/day.

Also, I doubt anyone here is real concerned about their accounts being hacked...

Ok, sessions now last 3 hours.
