Last Move In Game

This thread is closed.

In the game Colo(u)r me cotton, the final move by yanndan was not performed. This caused the game to automatically downsize and become a three player game.

Is there any way to have the game revert to the last round and just make the last move a pass? This seems the fairest to BullCityFats to award him a four player competitive win, rather than a three player win.

As an aside, this also gets into the "kingmaking" (scenario) posting on the General Brass Discussion Board. yanndan cannot win or come in second. He could make an overbuild to change the winner. I would personally prefer to earn my wins, rather than have someone give me the win, but others may have differing opinions.

I wish there was a way to post this as a low priority, so if you (Hammerite) choose not to respond, simply close the post.

Thanks,

Herb

Hi

The game counts as four players for all intents and purposes. The game would only count as being three players if it had been downsized considerably earlier (before the end of Rail Phase round 3). Also, for the purposes of player rankings, there's no difference between coming first in a four-player game and coming first in a three-player game. (It does make a difference if you came 2nd or 3rd. As I said, this one counts as a four-player game.)

The "kingmaking" thing is another issue, I guess, and not one for me to decide of course.

Thanks for explaining.

On a separate note, when will the new France map be ready?

That's pretty much up to RicoH and DeMat' to decide.
