Problem occurred with downsizing in game #3819 (I/O Result): cant do my move.

Could you abort the game?

TY

I deleted the game, it was badly broken. Sorry.

I may have fixed the underlying bug that caused the problem, but I'm not completely certain I identified the cause. Please continue to report any games that break in this discussion forum.

Not a problem.

Same bug in game #3511 (Loans for the Pros): the last player in the last turn was kicked and the auto downsizing left the game status "aborted" while it could have been finished, even with downsizing.

Note: The bug possibly occurred before your modification.

OK, I finally managed to identify the reason why things were going wrong at downsizing-time. It was due to a silly programming mistake somewhere I hadn't thought to look.

I'm afraid I deleted that game as well. I'm sorry so many of your games are being disrupted.

One thing I haven't been able to work out is why the system seems (based upon the game logs) to have been kicking people before it should and then recording the time it happened as being "in the future", as happened in that game. I don't know whether this fix will sort that out. Let me know about any more games that exhibit suspect behaviour.

Now I come to think of it, there was a minor issue related to recorded times in the new style logs which I sorted out a few days ago. It might just be remaining effects from that. That would certainly be the simplest explanation. So, the whole issue is hopefully sorted out now.
