Uploading Brass code to SourceForge

This thread is open.

I see that last year you created an open source entry for Brass on SourceForge at Any chance you will add your current body of code for this website to sourceforge? It might be one way to accelerate the process of bug fixes and enhancement requests. You could maintain strict control over which changes get approved while freeing yourself of the burden of having to code all of the changes yourself.

I did do that, although at the time it was intended for the Windows application.

I don't plan at the moment on uploading the code for this website. It isn't very well-written and I doubt that any "real programmers" would want to spend time working with it! What I mean by this is that I would expect anybody who has more of a grasp of proper programming practices than I do would find it quite a trial to have to work within the limitations of having to abide by various suboptimal design choices in the code for the site.

(I also found Sourceforge's way of organising things confusing, and gave up trying to use it after only trying briefly, which is one reason why I never used it for the Windows application. The other reason is that the code for the Windows application is far worse than the code for this site.)
