Hi Hammerite.

Have you planned to introduce a 5-player variant ? :p
There's a white color now, and in all my games (4-player) one can see the additionnal box saying "This player is not in the game (or is no longer in the game)".
Is it just a new color for the sake/fun of it ?
Is it for the tournament ?
Do you REALLY have a 5-player variant coming ? o_O

Thanks !

BTW, someone took the white in this game : http://wargamessoc.union.shef.ac.uk/brass/board.php?GameID=2443
And there seems to be a problem with the turn order display interface.

I'm having trouble too with a game where I replaced a missing player: http://wargamessoc.union.shef.ac.uk/brass/board.php?GameID=2441

I can't execute my move (the system lets me achieve it, and when done, it says its my turn again without keeping a record of my previous move)

I believe I have fixed this bug now and also repaired all of the games it affected. All of the games should work properly now. Sorry for the trouble.

The reason for introducing a fifth colour is in preparation for Martin's second edition of Brass, which he has indicated will allow for up to five players. I don't think the new edition is going to be released any time soon, but here the new colour is in preparation, anyway. I currently have no plans to introduce a 5-player variant before that time.

Most of the site's code, as well as the database, was designed around the assumption of up to 5 players, so it wasn't much trouble to finalise the availability of the white tiles.
