Maintaining Logins

I would love to be able to return to this website on an hourly/daily basis without having to go through the login process each time. Is there a way to store a login cookie that doesn't expire so quickly? (I do know how to make my browser remember my login information, but it still means I have to click to the login prompt, click OK, wait, and then click 'Your Games' to get back to where I wanted to be.

Still, thumbs up on the interface improvements so far!

It would be nice, but before I can implement anything to allow this I would need to read up on how to do it securely.

I use Opera. I can set it to update the page frequently. That keeps me logged on. The only drawback is that it may disrupt a move if I forget to turn it off when I give my orders.

It might be worth looking at what some of the other sites do -- both SpielByWeb and MabiWeb (and, I'm sure, others out there) have decent login mechanisms that persist. I don't know much more than that about them, though.

agreed - persistent login would be far easier.
